  • About 2-2 ½  cups syrup
  • 1 teaspoon of Baking Soda
  • Almonds or Pine nuts to decorate.
  • (Knife to cut Namoura)

In a 9×13 pan, grease with tahini to avoid sticking.

Put all the ingredients into a large bowl and mix together. Blend until the mixture is very smooth. Spread the blended mixture over the pan evenly. Distribute the almonds/or pine nuts over the surface of the mixture.

Set the oven to (225-250 degrees Fahrenheit). Place the pan into the oven and let it bake for about an hour. Namoura must be a golden brown color.

After about an hour, remove the pan and let it cool for about 10-15 minutes.

Then add the syrup over the pan. Using a knife, cut the Namoura into evenly spaced diagonal lines, creating a rectangular shape.

  • Namoura is a very popular dessert that is made in Lebanon and all around the World.
